Amiens Cathedral - Largest Medieval cathedral in the world.
From all of central Amiens, the cathedral dominates the town.

Villers-Bretonneux

Australian National Memorial
The four walls of the memorial list 10,773 names of the Australian Imperial Force with no known grave from WW1.
Over 2,400 Australian casualities to hold these fields and prevent Villers-Bretteneux being siezed. Had it been taken, Amiens would have been within range of German artillery.
Over 46,000 Australians died at the Somme, with over 100,000 wounded.

Nantes Cemetary

The graveyard by Nantes Jardin des Plantes is allowed to grow freely. No heavy gardening, weed killers etc.
Too much torque from spinning in one's grave can have negative impacts.
Time waits for no-one.
Buried a man so French, grapevines sprouted forth...
